The Flash Season 9 Trailer Review – Cinegenics

In the last season of The Flash, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will face off against another speedster in order to rescue the timeline. The CW has released a new trailer for the forthcoming ninth season of the show. In the latest trailer, Barry is seen to have a “Map Book,” which shows him what will happen before it happens. Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) becomes pregnant in three months.

The new film shows Barry warning that an unnamed speedster intends to develop a time machine, threatening the entire timeline. In the trailer, Richard Harmon appears as the new Captain Boomerang. The Flash will also face Pied Piper/Hartley Rathaway (Andy Mientus), who has appeared on the show since its first season. The trailer finishes with a view of The Flash, with Barry saying “let’s do this one final time.”

The CW premiered The Flash in October 2014. With its ninth season, the show will become the longest-running Arrowverse series, surpassing Arrow, which ended after eight seasons in 2020. “The cast and crew have created an exciting final season full of twists, guest stars, and surprises that will satisfy every fan. Now is the moment to catch up and enjoy the final ride with the fastest man alive.”

The ninth season of The Flash will also mark the end of the Arrowverse, which began with Arrow in 2012. Season 9 of The Flash will feature several famous names from other Arrowverse shows. Javicia Leslie, who played Ryan Wilder/Batwoman in the second and third seasons of Batwoman, will be one of them. Nicole Maines will reprise her Supergirl role as Dreamer/Nia Nal, and David Ramsey will return as John Diggle from Arrow.¬†Oliver served as Barry’s tutor for the first six seasons of The Flash. When Oliver died in “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” Barry was by his side, along with Sara Lance (Caity Lotz).
