Shehzada (2023) Trailer Review – Cinegenics

The trailer for Shehzada, starring Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, and others, was released on Thursday. And features Kartik in some excellent action sequences.

Here’s the trailer of the movie:

Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada teaser has finally arrived, and it features him in a new avatar. The actor, who is making his action hero debut, keeps his comedic timing as he addresses ‘true nepotism,’ wanting to be both a lawyer and a bouncer, and much more. Shehzada is the official Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo.

When it comes to family, Kartik speaks about taking action rather than merely participating in debates in the Shehzada trailer. Next, we see Kartik’s less-macho side, in which he does nothing but eat. When his ‘baba (father),’ Paresh Rawal, asks Kartik if he wants to be a lawyer or a bouncer, he says, “Dono (both).”

Kartik is led to his biological father, Randeep, who is not only wealthy and accomplished, but also Paresh’s boss, by a series of circumstances. All Kartik wants to do now is live his ‘Shehzada (prince)’ life, and he rides into his true father’s opulent palace on a horse.

Kartik then meets ‘intelligent, brilliant, and disciplined’ Kriti Sanon, who also happens to be Randeep’s fiancee. The trailer then follows the exploits of Randeep’s ‘asli beta (actual son)’. Kartik, as he knocks up bad individuals and attempts to save his genuine family. He then speaks with his father’s other son, Ankur Rathee. And discusses what ‘true nepotism’ is, as well as how his life has been full with pleasures. “When you needed milk, you received kheer. And that too made with almond milk… that is true nepotism,” he told Ankur.

Shehzada is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Allu Arvind, S Radha Krishna, and Aman Gill. Kartik Aaryan returns to the big screen following his smash hit, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022), directed by Anees Bazmee. Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3, Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani, Kabir Khan’s next untitled film. And Hansal Mehta’s Captain India are among his future projects.

The film will hit theatres on February 10, 2023.
