Finally, it’s here! After months of waiting, Disney has finally released the first “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” trailer for fans. In the months that followed that panel, anticipation for the trailer only grew, but it is now officially available. The media behemoth let it fly for all to see as part of today’s film presentation at CCXP23 in So Paolo.
In the teaser, well-known characters like Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, and Drax the Destroyer make a triumphant comeback, but it also introduces viewers to some fresh faces. Chukwudi Iwuji portrays The High Evolutionary, the Guardians’ newest cosmic adversary, and Cosmo the Spacedog has joined the group.
James Gunn wrote the screenplay and is the director of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.” The cast of the movie includes Sylvester Stallone, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista. Also, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, and Karen Gillan.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” trilogy and James Gunn’s long career as a filmmaker, who was catapulted to stardom by the show before being fired and then rehired by Marvel, come to an end with the third installment. Gunn recently shared on Twitter how much the series has meant to him and how he is looking forward to the final feature.
The Guardians have taken up the majority of Gunn’s attention over the past ten years, he writes. “I still have a long way to go with VFX and editing, but it was significant to me anyway. I can very easily convey to people how much I adore this cast and team. The fact that I consider these characters as reflections of both myself and the people I love. And that creating and filming them is a means for me to communicate my love for them. It is harder to put into words.
The movie is set to hit the theaters on May 5, 2023. Watch the official trailer for the film below:
